Jean - congratulations on the new ride! Also thanks for the info on the cord mounted LEDs. It sounds like these are worth checking out.

I had a spooky but beautiful ride home last night. After a warm, very still day it went cool in the evening, leaving very dense, localised patches of mist, sometimes just 100 yards or so. Riding through these was like something out of an old ghost story. From a distance, some of the patches had layers like tendrils creeping out of the darkness. In some places I almost had to stop because the mist was so thick.
