1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride?
- Specialized Allez Elite, purchased used from my son in law.
2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older?
- Meds for high bp, tylenol for bad shoulder injured in crash last spring.
3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any?
- No way to compare. Hadn't been on a bike since I was a kid.
4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life?
- I'm a newbie. Had a career change in early 2006 which resulted in a lot more personal time. Always wanted to try cycling, and got hooked.
5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides, commute, tour, race?
- Usually do 10-20 miles on a bike trail 3 times a week with my wife. Saturday mornings I generally do 30-40 miles.
6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage?
- During good weather, 3-5 times a week; have ridden about 1000 miles from April to September 2006.
7. Do you do any other type of physical activities - weight lifting, skiing, running, etc.?
- Some golf, another guitar player here, but strumming still probably don't count....
