Piracetam's actions seem purely confined to the central nervous system (brain). Remember, muscle movement is also dependant on the neuromuscular junction or peripehral nerve's release of certain chemicals (acetyl choline) that diffusse across the neuromuscular junction and activate the muscle cells. Unless piracetam can accelerate the speed at which the brain's signal fires down the spinal cord and increases the diffussion of these signaling chemicals across the neuromuscular junction, I don't see how it can be a performance enhancer. I sure can't wait till the FDA let' s us start using it in this country though.
