Black rims are still good for brakeless riders and front wheels.
I'm still going to use a block of wood and a hammer to press in BB's and headsets.
I'm not going to use a cresent wrench on my bike, i'll use a propper wrench.
Not all washers must be used.
I use wd40 to clean my chain of all oil/grease and grit when I take it off and re-lube it/clean it.
Cutting drop outs, gyro tabs, and brake mounts is fine.
