Yes, there is a difference between Shimano and Campagnolo. Which you need depends on what shifters and derailleurs are on your bike.
If it's Shimano you need, there are web deals on wheelsets with Ultegra hubs and Mavic Open Pro rims for around $200. Campy's going to be a little harder to find at that price.
