This just in: most freestyle bikes weigh between 28 and 30 pounds now. Hell, mine weighs less than 24 pounds, and it takes plenty of abuse without anything breaking. If 30 pounds is too heavy for you, go lift some ****ing weights. Pretty much every complete on the market is a chromoly race frame with 14mm dropouts, 990 mounts, and a detangler, anyway.
And, for the record, the 2004 Haro Backtrail X2 weighed 30.5 pounds, not 40.
