That is interesting. The instructions in the box under the Important Safety Precautions say "Only use the Wipperman connex-link in combination with a Wipperman connex chain".
No wonder there is a little confusion on this issue.... I bet the marketing group designed the box and the designers, engineers or legal team helped write the instructions.
