But owning one for almost a year now, I have to say its a great bike. Frame is essentially a MTB frame (certainly beefy enough) and if you throw knobbies on it you can hit the local single track scene. The gearing is really well done on this as well, I've kept up with those crazy messengers and roadies with this bike (stop and go traffic and otherwise). I even passed at Ti Serotta telling the guy he had a nice looking bike as I passed him. Although it's a very upright bike, I have replaced the stem and raised the seat for a classic XC like geometry. Give one a test, see if you like it. I did.
