I guess you mean the movie "Quicksilver" that was about bike messengers? I haven't seen that movie since about the time it came out, so I don't remember too much about it. Maybe more details about the scene would help, or maybe not.

I just know that when people get shot here in Cincinnati, it's usually in a high drug traffic/gang active part of town, a relationship "issue," or two drunk idiots in a fight over something stupid. There have been a few home invasion robberies and hold ups involving shootings but not many.

A friend of mine did get a pistol drawn on him after he confronted some guy for cutting too close to him on his bike, but I think the guy with the pistol was probably more scared than anything.
