Don't stand near the edge on the Cabot Trail, and tech your brakes before starting it, best views I think...anywhere. I loved out East, when we took the kids camping all along the way. I even started speaking to people after a week or so. If the good people of the East can get me out of being anti social, you might just take over the region. Check out Hopewell Rocks for the biggest tides in the world, and walking on the ocean floor during low tide. Remember it is not always lobster season so if you are going with gluts of seafood in mind check ahead as it's seasonal. Book hotels ahead...or bring camping gear, if you can find a camping spot. We didn't book, and juuuust happened to be there at the same time as the tall ships when the population of the coastal area had tripled...

We found a spot ...so lucky. A grand adventure....you'll love it.
