Dice veg, heat oil in pan and add garlic and onion, saute until brown, add herbs and salt/pepper, add other veg, cook 2-3 minutes, add tomato paste, cook 2 minutes, add wine, reduce until almost gone, add canned tomatoes, simmer for 10 minutes or so, add sugar if too acidic. When pasta is done add to sauce and cook for 1 minute. Serve and drink rest of wine.
