While I think the o-ring mount system is rather unique and transportable, my biggest concern is the fail-safe. O-rings deteriorate. O-rings snap. Things happen. This little bugger is mounted under my butt, I'll never know it's gone. If the sucker had a little lanyard for lasso'in round the post, that would be enough.
The o-ring system also limits ones ability to "aim the light or mount it to other frame members, like a chain stay.
I think it's pretty cool though, the demo's I've seen are quite convincing.
