PR out of guilt and maybe fear of citizen reaction to the FCC. Can we be bought for a promise of better beavior. Meanwhile news content and music content is more limited and censored.
I could not be bought off to wear that jersey for any price.
Story from Minot, ND. Had a chemical spill hazard incident. Local police tried to warn local citizens through the radio to avoid the hazardous area.
No local dj's were available..No engineer even. Station on automatic. Signal being received from network far away. Could not use local medium to warn local citizens. No one at home.
These people are doing you no favor.
As far as I can tell the CC stations in my area do not do this, at least the 2 I listen to don't.
Its real easy to tell that some of you have no love lost for CC. But that's no excuse for saying they are all bad. Trust me not all of them are as bad as you may think. And I thought I held a grudge when it came to certain issues. WOW!
