Mountain biking is a fun way to explore beautiful terrain. However, driving 1 hour to the nearest interesting trailhead is too much of a hassle for me. I ride my road bike out my front door 3 or 4 times a week. Haul the mountain bike out in the car maybe once or twice a month.
