I'm riding regular spd pedals now for commuting and have a few pairs of shoes with spd cleats that I use for my ss. I'd like to use Crankbros Eggbeaters on the fixie I am trying to build, but probably won't if I have to get new cleats for all these shoes (too much $$$) - I've heard that spd cleats work with eggbeaters, but that seems suspect. Anyone have any real experience with this??
