Cyclotoine, I am not sure what I am going to do. If I sell it, I may try local first so I don't have to ship. Shipping would be a little pricey for a bike in this range. Probably 90ish to Cali, I'll bet. I am surprised to hear that some of the components may not be original. I knew the pedals weren't, but I thought everything else is correct... well other than the wheel set. I do believe the hubs are original however, according to the person I got the bike from.

The bike is obviously is a DL170. The serial number has me confused. It reads WL4003983 . I am very confident in all the numbers or letters except the L. Now I want to think that is a D, but I sure doesn't look like it. Not sure what to say about that?

The stem and handlebars seem to be original then.

Thanks for the tips on how to trick the bike out with. I think I will go with the white tape and other suggestions to make it look a little nicer. The bike seems to be in pretty good shape and I have to say it rode very nice. Quite comfortable and it was smooth as can be.

If anyone understands that serial number let me know. I am new to this stuff, but find it pretty interesting.
