it only seems hard because you haven't spent enough time practicing. with a freecoaster hub, if you push down(forward) on the pedals while rolling backwards, the pedals will start to go backwards just like your regualar freewheel hub. so you still have to learn HOW to use the hub.

this is why I suggested learning how to rollback because just buying that hub won't automaticly make you be able to do rollbacks. you will STILL have to spend time learning how to rollback as well as learn how to use the hub.

I have a freecoaster on my flatland bike but can do most of my rear wheel tricks on my other bmx bike that has a freewheel. I don't like freecoaster hubs for doing rollbacks, they seem to mess me up. pedaling backwards somehow seems to help my balance....

what I HATE about freecoasters is the play they have. there is a reason why so few street riders use them.
