I don't think any such thing exists. I spent hours and hours combing through each of the manufacturers' web sites compiling tables on component specifications and prices and such. When it actually came time to buy I went down the the LBS, told them what I was looking for and the owner came up with some unadvertised specials (not too uncommon this time of year.) I bought a Gary Fisher Marlin for $329 (List was $519 I think) for my son. A year later (just last month) I bought a Gary Fisher Tassajarra GS for $450 (list was over $700) for my daughter.

My recommendation is to do as much research as you can beforehand and then talk to the LBS staff.
