I've got my Paramount up on Ebay right now. I thought that before christmas might be a good time to sell. However, unless there's a late rally, its not going to hit the reserve price.

Plan B is to sell my Merlin. (I need garage space so 1 bike needs to go.) So I started looking at completed auctions, and the prices on Merlins were surprisingly low to me. For example, a new Merlin Extralight with 10 speed Ultegra received a high bid of $1035. A 2006 Merlin Works with ultegra didn't sell with a high bid of $710.

Is this just a lousy time to sell a bike? Should I wait till the spring?
