I like easterns they make great bikes.
but really, my favorite bike is the one that I am riding at any given time. to me, as long as the bike has air in the tires, and I can pedal it, it's great.
what it really comes down to is skill. so many people spend money on a bike (or guitar, car, computer etc.) and they don't have the basic skills to use it. dave mirra could ride the biggest pile of junk bike really well. because he knows how to ride a bike, really well.
bottom line is, have fun. if you enjoy riding you will get better and the better you get the better understanding of what parts work how you want them to or need them to.
