One of my best friends is a Specialized dealer, he allready gave them the money for his new Demo 9 that he is buying for himself. When I spoke to him last night he told me that Specialized finally release the weight of the Demo 9 to him at 48lbs. I forgot to ask if that was for the Pro or the DH model but they weights of the two should be very close.
Rohloff solved the oil leaking problem their first year, they work very well know, the only thing I don't like about it is that if you are pedaling hard it will jump into 14 while shifting between 7 and 8. It kills your spin, it's like hitting a wall, your're pedalling along and then feel like your feet just stop. They don't actually stop but jumping from gear 7 up to 14 is such a huge change that it feels that way. I just remember to back off a bit (soft pedal) when changing between 7-14 now to get around it, but I do really wish they'd fix the issue.
Still minor in comparison to the shifting issues derailuers have.
