I have a motorcycle where they tried to shave grams with lightweight fasteners everywhere. When I wrench on it it takes half again as long because I have to baby the bolts with exacting specifications. Worse still: many of them are one time use only. IMHO: this is a really, really, bad place to save grams. To each their own.
