I won't be alone. Far from it.
My sisters and I and all of our families gather at my parents house in New Jersey. The old place fills to overflowing. Every room is packed like a bunkhouse. And in a 100+ year old house with only two bathroom, you learn wait your turn.
Games, jigsaw puzzels, music, night-walk around the neighborhood looking at lights. See if the First Unitarian Church is doing a carol service this year. May try to snag some computer time. Call a couple of old high school friends who still live in town. I'm bringing my tool box and will proably do some repairs on the house. Had hoped to make it into NYC, but doesn't look like there will be enough time.
No riding. Bike is staying at home. Need room in the car for four plus luggage plus presents.
Dinner out on Christmas Eve, but Christmas dinner is a major group effort. I'm making one of the desserts on Sunday so I don't take up kitchen space on Monday.
Nice to see everyone all together, then nice to come home again.
