After a lot of research and thought I went with it. I'm happy in the decision. The only thing that is troublesome with a mirror on the bar end position and not on the helmet is that visibility when there is people behind you makes it limited...whereas with a helmet mount you can still see. I figure that's ok since I only want to look back when I'm alone or at the back of a group. Can still turn the head too...no substitution for that. Also, not a fan of helmet mirrors.
