You HAVE to be kidding. Do you even know who Rebecca Twigg is?!? The unrealized potential you speak of amounted to 6 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in the Individual Pursuit, 16 US NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, 2 Olympic medals (silver in 84, bronze in 92) in both road and track disciplines as well as innumerable stage race victories on the road. Very few riders have had her success on both the road and the track.She is arguably one of the most successful riders, male or female, that the US has ever produced. As far as the blood doping thing, it was done by several members of the US Olympic team and WAS NOT illegal at the time. While it may have been unethical, it was only afterward that the IOC declared blood doping to be illegal. Perhaps you should read up on your cycling history before writing her off as another pretty face who didn't live up to her potential.
