I suspect the late 60s and early 70s were pretty good years for many of us. I certainly enjoyed my college years.
As to taking a mulligan, I'm afraid all we can do is to enjoy life as best we can from here on out. As nearly everyone here is biking, there is at least some reasonable degree of fitness. That's certainly a plus. Combine this with some travel, some family time, some good meals, some good music, and some service to others (and a new bike, of course) and you've got the makings of good times.
