Speaking of contraptions, I'd like to put together a pedal powered snowplow (or snowblower?) to clear the bike paths. The city just doesn't do a very thorough job. It's pretty bad when riding on the bike path is MORE dangerous than the city streets.
Great idea!

Interesting that the bike paths are plowed down there but many of the residential streets aren't. Here they've hit almost all the neighborhoods but the bike path hasn't been touched except with cross country skis.
