A 2001, Trek 820? Are you referring to the suspension model? For $50! If that's the suspension model, that's an outstanding price. If it's the rigid fork model in good condition thats an excellent price. I can sell older 800's for $50 to $70. 820's always bring more, and the suspension model usually sells for well over $100 on ebay plus shipping. No matter which model you bought, you did real well.
We have a 2002 Trek 820 and it is a VERY reliable bike and very sturdy. We use it as our third bike on MTB, single track, technical trails.
