The HID light allows you to see a lot, but runners dressed in black, or riders dressed in black are just as difficult to see from a bike as they are from a car with headlights.
Your thread really opened my eyes about 'odd' behavior on the MUPs. I never understood why oncoming bikes would hide-the HID. Thought their lights were just improperly aligned that day.

Yea the runners in black! Nearly hit one and freaked out at not seeing him even with my 35W geek light.
