I've had this frame hanging around for about 2 years, and finally got it built over the holiday. It's a Nigel Dean frame that I got for £20, and almost everything else was free, from bikes I flipped:
Titanium Flite saddle - free
TTT track stem, ebay, £3 (!)
Bars from a Raleigh Quasar - free
Wheels - vintage Normandy Flip Flop hubs, steel rims (yikes!) - free (plus some washers for respacing)
Cranks - crappy Silstar doubles, converted, but free (apart from the bolts) and 165mm
Pedals - Lyotard single sided vintage cages - free, and great for sneakers
Brakes - dual pivot Shimano at the front, Weinmann at the back, Shimano aero levers, all free
Test ride today confirms what I knew really - I don't want 42 x 13, so I need a 15t cog, and that I need a longer seatpost. I normally ride a 24", but wanted a nippy small framed bike, however, no seatpost I had that fit would get me high enough!
Edit: When there's a bit more light, I'll try to take a picture that's at least 25% sharp!
