Yeah so after figuring out that my cheap (very cheap) trek helmet looks like a globe on my head and that it doesn't match my bike or jersey i decided to look for a new visually pleasing helmet. I went into two of my lbs. One deals trek and specialized helmets, while the other deals bell and giro helmets.. I finally found a giro helmet that i liked... looked at the price, tag 175 bucks!! thats over 100 dollars out of my price range haha.

I paid 150+ bucks at the LBS for a bell sweep R. I pulled the trigger with a trembling heart. However, the ability to spend up to 3 hours trying out various makes, colors, and sizes is well worth it. I thought I owned it to the LBS for being patient with me. As it turned out, the sweep R is around 85-90 bucks on Ebay.Thus, conscience makes cowards of us all. Learn from my lesson and go to the LBS, try out the helmets, and go on Ebay to purchase it.
