I built bike with my buddy in university (his plans and tools, my unskilled labour) but its mild steel (easy to weld but very heavy). I'd like to commision someone to build an aluminium replica of my frame but all the custom frame builders roll their eyes when I say recumbent. Oh, and did I mention that I don't want to spend a million dollars on it?
