there's a nice looking 100mm serotta stem on ebay right now. while the converter kind of sounds like its more trouble than it's worth, there are some nice 31.8 bars i'd like to try. hmmm...

i currently have an old controltech stem on my bike that needs to be swapped out for something a bit shorter.


and yes, i meant F1 fork, typo on my part.

in short, my project involves upgrading a bunch of the worn 5-season old Ultegra on my bike for 9 speed DA.

i'm replacing the shifters, rear derailleur, casette, headset, chainrings and well as recabling, new bars and stem, overhauling the other stuff, and the tricky part, trying to learn enough to make it all work
