Hey Angelo...I hit that hill quite a bit. It does give you a break as you start to round the bend but it looks godawful as your staring at the hill from the bottom. I try to incorporate a bunch of routes in that area to form a loop to and from my home. The new foot bridge from the park (Gristmill trail) opens a world of great riding in the area. Like... Lawyers Hill Rd., Gun road, etc.
