The only time I saw a person get an arm cut off in a motor vehicle accident was when a guy was driving with his arm hanging out of the window and he was T-boned in an intersection. But, even as a former EMT, I can't decide which Road ID would be best. Based on past experience I would say the wrist, but it wouldn't work in the winter. I'm inclined to go for the shoe version.
When you came upon an unconscious victim, did you check for a pulse at the wrist, or at the neck?
Which ever is most prevalent, that's where I'd wear one.
