I read the instructions, then toss everything in together.

The exception might be Goretex, but I don't own Goretex. When you live on the road, feeding expensive laundry machines makes one-in-all-in washing the only way to go.

All my laundry is either cold-cold, or warm-cold. Detergent is irrelevant -- dishwashing liquid works just as well as laundry powder, for me.
