Julian is way up in the mountains and not really anyway near the turn around point for the ride. There is not much of an elevation change during the ride so the weather should be pretty much the same throughout the whole Anza-Borrego desert.

The big concern, as others have noted, is that there could be some strong winds on Saturday. These can really blast in the area. Should be a real chilly ride regardless.
