Yeah, you could join us for Baldy Challenge. I've done a solo century before, and it's a different experience. (Not better or worse. Different.) So if you want to go at it solo, go for it. As suggested to me when I planned mine (especially since I decided to throw in over 10k feet of climbing) having a phone contact to pick you up in case of an emergency isn't a bad idea.
