Converting a Univega Super Strada to Fixed/SS.

The title pretty much says it all. This is an 80's era road bike that I refurbished. My son-in-law bought it new and rode it for a few years before parking it by the trash cans in his back yard to decay. Frame's in great shape, no rust, and it rides just fine as a multi-speed road bike. The drive train is all Shimano Dura Ace including the weird DynDrive pedal/crankset; I did buy the adapters from Loose Screws Bike Parts to use with current pedal threads. I'm torn with indecision about wheather to tear it down and make it a fixed gear "urban assault" bike or keep it "as-is" and an example of a vintage 80's road bike. If the bike was an older Colnago or Cinelli I wouldn't do it. But, since it's a Univega, I'm thinking that it may not be such a bad thing. I'd like your input and suggestions to make up my mind. Thx in advance, Thom.
