Yes they are British, they are part of the Upgrade group who design Kinesis frames for the UK too. From all accounts they're brilliant. They're getting pretty well known over here, and have found particular success with the pedals. Hence I suggested them to the OP as he will have a perfect colour match which is always nice!
I know, they are tempting, but I'm pretty much sold on Speedplay drilliums.
