I hope the craziness in your personal life is not of too bad a kind.
What a day I chose to start riding into work, a nice coat of snow, slush and freezing rain - my commute has changed temporarily to just under 3 miles, so while it took me about 15-20 mins, it was only because of exercising extreme caution - I had no idea of the snow until I stepped out this morning with my bike.
Wow, that must've been quite a shock.
Better check the weather before you head out next time.
I still have my regular road treads on, so I'll have to switch to knobbies if this keeps up!
Same here.
Saw a good few bikes, had a chat to one nice lady - we both commented it was the worst weather we'd ridden in so far.
On my way back home (around 11:30-12 a.m.) I saw quite a few bikies (not so many north of Bloor, but a bunch downtown). Amazing, eh? Nice to see people riding... or, in some cases (as it was with me on the way in at 6 a.m.), trying to ride.
