I have the same problem though I havent been approached about it, nor have I heard any banging for below. Once I really start moving on my trainer (Same one too - Cycleops Mag) I get nervous that its too loud for the people downstairs. I put a phone book under each leg of the trainer and alot of rug/towel in the back but it still seems loud. I've thought about taking my trainer to the apartment basement which I discovered when I had my internet hooked up. However the building is over 120 years old and its pretty dirty, smelly and spooky down there. No balcony either, so I cant bring it outside. At least I commute via bike so I'm still doing something but its not a real training session.
