I just realized you wrote, "noticed a dent." Did the seller not point the dent out? If so, then I would pass on it at any price because he is a sneaky thief. It is one thing to sell something defective and potentially dangerous, but clearly point out the defect, and let the buyer decide to take the risk-or not. It is really CS to try to sell something defective-and dangerous-and to hope the buyer doesn't notice.
If the seller didn't immediately reveal this dent, you should post his name.
