Agreed, the dents themselves are not likely to be issues of impending frame failure but wouldn't a buyer observing them want to get that ruler out again and go over the alignment of the entire bicycle? Probably should be done anyway even if a bike looks cosmetically perfect, but here we have definite evidence of incidents in the past, minor or otherwise.
