I have a good friend that has been involved as a volunteer presenter for "Operations Lifesaver" for many years. I am sure he would want me to mention using CAUTION when riding near railroad right-of-ways. You may also be subject to trespassing charges if you are caught on their property. Around here the BNSF has aggressively posted NO TRESPASSING signs along the tracks. Their "Special Agents" (railroad security officers) are on patrol 24x7.

I'm just saying be careful, and be aware of the possible consequences.
