no point guessing.. an easy test would be to just take out the stem and try the headset locknut on one of your other bikes
only non-raleigh replacement i've heard of is using phil wood rings.. even with a shimano bb cartridge it's a bit pricy
I forgot about Phil offering Raleigh-threaded rings...that's here I'd go if it were mine, combined with a JP cartridge unit from my box of orphaned BBs.
But, I HAVE heard of Raleigh Grand Prixs with mixed BB and HS threads, maybe they were rarities or only seen in the US. From what I've seen that fork with the threaded boss on the blade is much less common on US-market Raleigh GPs...(waiting for Cudak888 to shoot me down in flames any second now...)
