It is one thing for you, I or any other observer to say things like this but Pound is the head of the adjudicating body and he has just, publically, indicated his predisposotion to determine guilt.

This guy's a lawyer?

I'm a big hockey fan, and Dick went after the NHL a couple years, saying that 40%, or some such ridiculous number of players, were doping. In a recent article (NY Times?) he flat out admitted he just made the number up. And of course, when the NHL players took the Olympic drug test (each nation submitted a pool of 60 players that they were going to draw their rosters from, and all 60 from each nation had to submit), only two were found to be using any form of performance enhancer - Bryan Berard, who basically only has one eye, and takes a terrible pounding because of it (not that that's an excuse), and Jose Theodore, who used - get this - a hair restorative of some variety.

When Lance had his post-retirement problems with that French lab, and called for Dick to resign, the NHL issued a statement of support for LA, saying they consider Dick to be nothing more than a loudmouthed joke.

I'm like most everyone else - I do believe in his cause; I want to watch drug free racing. But he is going to be the ruination of that cause, and maybe the pro peleton, as well.
