In my opinion, cross frames should come stock with 132.5 spacing anyway giving more options for hubs, especially disc! Both cross bikes I've had have had this spacing and I've use road hubs (130 spacing) and Mtn hubs (135) with both. Also if you're considering spreading the stays going 2.5 mm with aluminum is much safer than going 5mm. Also be sure and check alignment.
