Bikes far snobbier than the Bottecchia get slammed all the time on BF, be it color scheme, components, wheels, etc.

Hell, Boonen's new Specialized must cost $7000+ and it got reviled in multiple threads.

The real question is this: Why are BD customers so sensitive about someone making fun of their bike?

I'm glad that people who bought bikes from BD like them. From what I've gathered they're a decent bike for the money. But if you're going to buy a bargain-basement bike, have a thick enough skin to be OK with it when people call it what it is.
