I have a set of Quattro cleats that keep on pulling off my shoes.
It first happened after I clipped a curb at slow speed...oops.
The second time I was jared over a large "japanese style" solar road marker.
The cleat attatchment pulled right over the bolt.
Nothing really broke but a few fracture where the bolt pulled through.

You first guess might be that I over tightened them...

My shoes are Shimano's R151LE's which have a super non-flex carbon sole.
I snugged the bolts up, but did NOT over tighten.

Crank Brothers sent out a new set of adapter. Very cool. Thanks Guys...

My question is this,
Would the differance in the flexability caracteristics of the two different material
might have caused the cleat to pull it's way over the bolts???
Bolts ridgid, cleats flexy-like if ya' could imagine...

If figured,
I'd cut myself a gasket to act as a buffer between the shoe and the cleat.
My desire is to not have this happen again, ya' figure?

Would my efforts be aimless?
Any and all tips, hints or ideas will be taken with kindly regards.

These eggbeaters are my first clipless experience, SO...
Three hole pattern or two? I've been using the two hole quattro cleats for the past year without problems but have heard of people having problems with the 3 hole pattern.
